Our community

Families are the foundation of Warekila. Throughout the year we hold a number of events for members of the kinder community to get to know each other in a relaxed, family-friendly environment, including Welcome BBQ, park plays, Halloween Disco and more.
All families are invited to do parent helper sessions, where they spend time actively participating in play with their own child as well as others. Helpers are not limited to parents and we welcome grandparents, carers, extended family members and other significant people in the children’s lives.

Warekila has an active and enthusiastic Parent Committee that is elected at the annual general meeting (AGM). The AGM is held in November each year and all members of the preschool community are encouraged to attend.
