Our educators

Our longstanding teachers and co-educators have worked together as a highly effective team for several years.  Experienced, knowledgeable, committed and caring, they know how to get the most out of every child.
"At Warekila Preschool, we aim for students to become happy, independent and confident learners. We plan rich learning experiences by following our students interests. Our educators encourage curiosity through exposing the children to music, drama, language, literacy, imaginative play and sensory experiences. We endeavour to equip our young learners with strong social and emotional. tools before they head off to primary school."

I love being a teacher because I get to be a witness amazing growth young people make. It's a fantastic feeling to be able to shape young and curious minds.

I love Warekila because it is part of my beautiful local community. The children and families are warm and welcoming, the staff are devoted to their craft.

My students make me proud when they try their best and give everything a go. I know they are capable of great things.

Some of my favourite things are Disney and Marvel movies, Bluey, Lego, crafting and singing.

I love being a teacher because kids have such enthusiasm for everything and it's lovely to be part of that.

I love Warekila because everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

My favourite book: I don't have a favourite but I love a good biography about someone interesting.

My favorite place: The beach, any beach will do!

Favorite TV: Anything light and fluffy, comedy, trashy reality, anything.

My students make me laugh when they are: their fun, silly selves!

I love being a teacher because I can help children discover the world around them as well as discover themselves. I enjoy the interactions with children and sharing their joy when they succeed at a task. Every day is full of exploration and learning for both children as well as teachers.

I love Warekila because it has a beautiful community feel and the teachers are so dedicated to ensuring the best outcome for all children.

Some of my favourite things are anything Disney, travelling, Calisthenics and spending time with my 6 pets.
